How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Ornithopter.
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary and Remembrance trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, searching your library for Ornithopter and putting it into your hand.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
6. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you turn a free artifact into an endless engine of sacrifice and search. You kick things off by feeding free Ornithopter to the sacrifice outlet Umbral Collar Zealot, which triggers both Mortuary and Remembrance at the exact same time. Mortuary instantly scoops Ornithopter back from the graveyard onto the top of your library, while Remembrance lets you search your library for another copy of Ornithopter and put it straight into your hand—ready to be cast again for zero mana to restart the cycle.
