How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Ornithopter
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
4. Cast Ornithopter from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns zero-mana artifacts into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection. By activating Phantom Train and feeding it your free Ornithopter, you trigger Mortuary to immediately recycle the mechanical flyer back to the top of your library. Meanwhile, Gwenom, Remorseless grants you the vital permission to cast spells directly from the top of your deck, letting you bypass mana costs by paying life instead—which, for a free artifact like Ornithopter, costs zero life to recast. This lets you endlessly repeat the cycle to generate infinite death triggers, enter-the-battlefield events, and towering +1/+1 counters on your Phantom Train.
