How it works

1. Cast Tainted Strike by paying , giving Purphoros +1/+0 and infect until end of turn.
2. Cast Myr Battlesphere by paying 7.
3. When Myr Battlesphere enters the battlefield, it and Purphoros trigger.
4. Resolve the Myr Battlesphere trigger, creating four 1/1 Myr artifact creature tokens.
5. When the Myrs enter the battlefield, Purphoros triggers four times.
6. Resolve all Purphoros triggers, causing each opponent to get ten poison counters.
7. Each opponent loses the game due to having ten or more poison counters.

This explosive sequence turns a standard token-maker into a swift executioner by weaponizing keyword interactions. When you cast **Myr Battlesphere**, its arrival populates the board with four Myr artifact creature tokens, which in turn triggers **Purphoros, God of the Forge** four separate times to deal 2 damage to each opponent per token. Normally, this would only amount to 8 damage, but preemptively casting **Tainted Strike** grants Purphoros +1/+0 and infect for the turn; because Purphoros is the source of that triggered damage, it deals it in the form of poison counters instead. As all four tokens enter simultaneously, the stacked Purphoros triggers quickly pile on ten poison counters, instantly eliminating your opponents without ever needing to enter combat.
