How it works

1. Activate The World Tree's second ability by paying , tapping and sacrificing it, searching your library for Purphoros, if needed, and every other God and/or creature with changeling in your library and put them onto the battlefield.
2. When the Gods enter the battlefield, Purphoros triggers for each God that entered except itself, if applicable.
3. Resolve all Purphoros triggers, dealing damage to each opponent equal to twice the number of Gods that entered the battlefield.

This explosive endgame hinges on leveraging The World Tree's massive mana-activated ability to flood the board directly from your library with every single God and changeling at your disposal. Because Purphoros, God of the Forge enters the battlefield alongside this massive divine host, its triggered ability immediately recognizes every other creature arriving simultaneously. As a result, Purphoros rains down waves of direct damage on each opponent, closing out the game on the spot without ever needing to enter the combat phase.
