How it works

1. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Shield Sphere.
2. Cast Shield Sphere from your graveyard by paying 0. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns the graveyard into an endless engine by leveraging the passive protection of Solemnity to completely bypass Leonardo, Sewer Samurai's finality counter drawback on creatures with power or toughness 1 or less. Because Solemnity prevents counters from ever being put on creatures, Shield Sphere enters the battlefield completely fresh every time you cast it from the graveyard using Leonardo's ability. You then feed that same Shield Sphere directly to Lithatog's sacrifice activation to fuel its continuous growth, sending the artifact right back to the graveyard to restart the cycle.
