How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Shield Sphere.
2. Cast Shield Sphere from your graveyard by paying 0. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. Repeat.

This clever recursion engine relies on Leonardo, Sewer Samurai to grant you permission to replay your tiny creatures from the graveyard during your turn. The linchpin of the combo is Solemnity, whose passive static ability prevents counters of any kind from being placed—which brilliantly overrides the finality counters Leonardo would normally stamp onto those returning threats and completely negates the self-sabotaging -0/-1 counters that Shield Sphere naturally accumulates. You simply feed Shield Sphere to Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability to surveil through your deck, cast the Sphere right back out from your graveyard for zero mana, and repeat the loop indefinitely for infinite sacrifices, triggers, and storm count.
