How it works

1. Activate the Equipment by paying its equip cost, attaching it to Shield Sphere.
2. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Shield Sphere, adding .
3. When Shield Sphere dies, Koll triggers, returning Shield Sphere from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Shield Sphere by paying its mana cost.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms free sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine by turning a tiny wall into a recurring resource. You start by using Thermopod to sacrifice Shield Sphere for red mana, triggering Koll, the Forgemaster's ability because the zero-mana artifact creature was equipped at the time of its demise. Koll returns Shield Sphere straight back to your hand, allowing you to recast it for free and feed it right back to Thermopod's altar. Because Shield Sphere absorbs the equipment requirement simply by being suited up, this closed circuit generates endless sacrifices, enters, and storm count without ever running out of steam.
