How it works

1. Cast Flesh Duplicate by paying 0 due to Aluren, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Mischievous Pup.
2. When Flesh Duplicate enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Mischievous Pup from the battlefield to your hand.
3. Cast Mischievous Pup by paying 0 due to Aluren.
4. When Mischievous Pup enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Flesh Duplicate from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Aluren into an engine for infinite value by letting you cast creatures for free at instant speed. You start by using Aluren to deploy Flesh Duplicate for zero mana, having it enter as a copy of Mischievous Pup. That copy's entrance triggers to bounce the original Mischievous Pup back to your hand, which you can then immediately cast for free thanks to Aluren.
