How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 3, blinking Wily Goblin.
2. When Wily Goblin enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, and Preston trigger twice if it has power 2 or less, or once otherwise.
3. Resolve both Wily Goblin triggers, creating two Treasure artifact tokens.
4. Resolve the first Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Wily Goblin that is a 0/1 Illusion.
5. When the Wily Goblin token enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
6. Repeat from step 4 for the remaining Preston trigger, if applicable.
7. Activate three Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
8. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a humble goblin into an infinite army by exploiting a clever web of triggers and mana generation. It all starts when Emiel the Blessed uses its ability to blink Wily Goblin, whose entry into the battlefield generates Treasure tokens to help fund the operation. Meanwhile, Preston, the Vanisher watches for creatures entering without being cast, using those blinks to churn out a growing horde of 0/1 Illusion copies. Delney, Streetwise Lookout acts as a powerful amplifier for your board, doubling up those creature triggered abilities because the key pieces possess power 2 or less. By constantly blinking Wily Goblin and its illusionary kin, you sacrifice the generated Treasures to continuously fuel Emiel the Blessed's activation cost while flooding the board with infinite creature tokens and entering-the-battlefield triggers.
