How it works

1. Play Everglades.
2. When Everglades enters, it and Retreat to Emeria trigger.
3. Resolve the Retreat to Emeria trigger, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
4. When the Kor Ally enters, Haru triggers, earthbending Everglades.
5. Resolve the Everglades trigger from step 2, causing you to sacrifice it
6. Haru triggers, returning Everglades from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop turns the self-sacrificing drawback of Everglades into an infinite engine for your board, fueled entirely by the land's own repeated arrivals. Whenever Everglades enters the battlefield, it triggers its own sacrifice clause while Retreat to Emeria capitalizes on the landfall trigger to generate a 1/1 white Kor Ally creature token. That arriving ally instantly wakes up Haru, Hidden Talent, whose earthbend ability transforms Everglades into a creature that dutifully goes to the graveyard—only for Haru to immediately rescue it and return it to the battlefield tapped to restart the whole sequence.
