How it works

1. Play a land.
2. When the land enters, Retreat to Emeria triggers, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
3. When the Kor Ally enters, Haru triggers, earthbending the land that entered.
4. Activate Sylvan Safekeeper by sacrificing the earthbended land.
5. Haru triggers, returning the land from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When the land enters, Retreat to Emeria triggers, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
7. When the Kor Ally enters, Haru triggers, earthbending the land that entered.
8. Repeat from step 4.
9. Resolve all Sylvan Safekeeper abilities.

This clever loop turns a simple land drop into an infinite engine by leveraging Haru, Hidden Talent as a translator between your land-based effects and creature entries. Whenever a land enters, Retreat to Emeria triggers to create a Kor Ally token, which in turn causes Haru to earthbend that very land into a creature. You can then sacrifice that animated land to Sylvan Safekeeper's activation to protect your board, and because it was earthbended, Haru immediately rescues it from the graveyard and returns it to the battlefield tapped. This brings the land right back into play to restart Retreat to Emeria, generating an endless cascade of landfall triggers, creature tokens, and enters-the-battlefield events.
