How it works

1. Cast Stunt Double by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
2. Put Stunt Double into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. Stunt Double's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
4. Resolve Stunt Double's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
5. Resolve Stunt Double's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns a legendary enchantment into an infinite-damage engine by manipulating clone mechanics and state-based actions. With Opalescence active, your original Rakdos Joins Up becomes a creature, allowing Stunt Double to flash in and enter as a copy of it. Because both are legendary and share the same name, the legend rule immediately sends the clone to the graveyard, but this triggers both its own entry-from-graveyard effect and its death-triggering damage—which is then doubled by the original Rakdos Joins Up's own legendary death trigger. The resulting recursion continually loops Stunt Double back to the battlefield with extra counters, churning out infinite damage and death triggers against your opponents.
