How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Hydra Omnivore, causing them to get at least eight poison counters.
2. The opponent loses the game as a state-based action due to having ten or more poison counters.
3. Hydra Omnivore triggers, causing each other opponent to get at least eight poison counters.
4. Each remaining opponent loses the game as a state-based action due to having ten or more poison counters.

By suiting up Hydra Omnivore with Grafted Exoskeleton, you completely bypass the need to grind down traditional life totals. Thanks to the Equipment's infect ability, the damage dealt by Hydra Omnivore's triggered ability translates directly into poison counters rather than regular damage. Because infect applies to players in the form of poison counters, striking just one opponent for enough combat damage lets the Omnivore's triggered ability cascade through the rest of the table and instantly eliminate every other opponent via state-based actions.
