How it works

1. Play the land that taps for multiple mana.
2. That land enters as a creature due to Living Plane, triggering Vigean Graftmage's Graft ability, allowing you to move a +1/+1 counter from Vigean Graftmage to that land.
3. Activate that land by tapping it, adding at least two mana.
4. Zhur-Taa Ancient triggers, adding at least one additional mana.
5. Activate Vigean Graftmage by paying 1, untapping the land creature.
6. Repeat.

This fascinating loop transforms your entire manabase into a self-sustaining engine by letting Living Plane turn every land into a 1/1 creature, which immediately receives a +1/+1 counter from Vigean Graftmage’s graft ability as it enters the battlefield. With that counter in place, you can tap the land-creature for mana, and Zhur-Taa Ancient steps in to double your bounty by triggering extra mana of any type that land produced. You then funnel a portion of that windfall straight back into Vigean Graftmage’s active ability to untap the land, leaving you free to repeat the process infinitely and generate boundless mana.
