How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Iridescent Drake, adding CC.
2. When Iridescent Drake dies, The Cauldron of Eternity and Pattern of Rebirth trigger.
3. Resolve the Cauldron of Eternity trigger, putting Iridescent Drake on the bottom of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Pattern of Rebirth trigger, putting Iridescent Drake from your library onto the battlefield.
5. When Iridescent Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Pattern of Rebirth from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Iridescent Drake.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever recursive cycle between Iridescent Drake and Pattern of Rebirth, where sacrificing the Drake to Ashnod's Altar triggers both its enchantment and the artifact's mana production. As Pattern of Rebirth searches the Drake back onto the battlefield, its entry trigger snatches the Aura right back out of the graveyard to keep the chain unbroken. Meanwhile, The Cauldron of Eternity quietly shapes the graveyard and library interactions, ensuring the Drake cleanly returns from the library rather than getting trapped below. Together, this yields an endless loop of sacrifices for infinite colorless mana and boundless entry triggers.
