How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Iridescent Drake.
2. When Iridescent Drake dies, Necrogen Communion triggers, returning Iridescent Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Iridescent Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Necrogen Communion from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Iridescent Drake.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This elegant recursion loop revolves around a symbiotic partnership between Iridescent Drake and Necrogen Communion, where the Aura continually rescues the creature from the grave only to be brought back itself upon the Drake's return. To break this closed loop and extract value, Carrion Feeder acts as the designated executioner, consuming the Drake on demand to fuel the cycle while permanently growing in size with each iteration. Because Necrogen Communion's revival clause and the Drake's entry trigger feed directly back into one another, you can repeat this process indefinitely to pump Carrion Feeder into an infinitely massive threat alongside an endless storm of death and entry triggers.
