How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Iridescent Drake, adding CC.
2. When Iridescent Drake dies, Unhallowed Pact triggers, returning Iridescent Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Iridescent Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Unhallowed Pact from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Iridescent Drake.
4. Repeat.

This loop transforms a simple recursion engine into an infinite resource generator by cycling Iridescent Drake between the battlefield and the grave. When you sacrifice the Drake to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the colorless mana needed to fuel the engine while triggering Unhallowed Pact to bring the Drake right back. As the Drake re-enters, its own ability fishes Unhallowed Pact back out of the graveyard and attaches it once more, setting the stage to repeat the entire process indefinitely.
