How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Iridescent Drake, adding one mana of any color.
2. When Iridescent Drake dies, Shade's Form triggers, returning Iridescent Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Iridescent Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Shade's Form from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Iridescent Drake.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a self-sustaining cycle of sacrifice and resurrection, fueled by Shade's Form ensuring that its enchanted host never truly stays dead. When you feed Iridescent Drake to Phyrexian Altar for any color of mana, Shade's Form immediately triggers to bring the Drake right back to the battlefield. That re-entry then allows the returning Iridescent Drake to use its triggered ability to fish Shade's Form right back out of the graveyard and attach it to itself, resetting the entire engine for another iteration.
