How it works

1. Activate Anti-Venom using Walking Ballista's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, targeting itself and putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to its replacement effect and Winding Constrictor.
2. Activate Anti-Venom using Walking Ballista's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
3. Repeat.

This clever synergy turns self-inflicted damage into a fountain of growth, starting when Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer enters the battlefield and uses its cast trigger to return a fallen creature from your graveyard. Once Agatha's Soul Cauldron exiles that creature and grants its abilities to your team, it paves the way for Walking Ballista to leverage its own counter-manipulation. The real engine, however, is driven by Winding Constrictor, which turns every counter placement into a net gain by adding an extra counter to the mix. By cycling Walking Ballista's counter-removal into Anti-Venom's damage-prevention ability—enhanced by the Constrictor—you rapidly accumulate infinite counters while dishing out infinite damage to any target.
