How it works

1. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis' second ability and Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. When the Clue enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
7. Resolve the Grinding Station ability from step 1, causing target player to mill three cards.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop feeds on itself by turning the sacrifice of a Clue into a self-sustaining cycle of triggers. When you use Grinding Station to mill a player by sacrificing a Clue, Tarrian's Soulcleaver rewards the artifact hitting the graveyard by placing a +1/+1 counter on Lonis, Genetics Expert. That counter triggers Lonis's ability to investigate, creating a brand new Clue token. Because that Clue entering the battlefield triggers Grinding Station's untap ability, you can immediately tap the Station to sacrifice the fresh Clue and repeat the entire process, while simultaneously spreading endless +1/+1 counters to your other creatures thanks to Lonis's sacrifice payoff.
