How it works

  1. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact creature.
  2. When the creature dies, Nick Valentine triggers, creating a Clue token and a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token.
  3. When the Clue and Thopter enter the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers twice, untapping Grinding Station.
  4. Resolve the Grinding Station ability from step 1.
  5. Repeat.
