How it works

1. Cast Infested Thrinax by paying 3.
2. When Infested Thrinax enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to create a number of 1/1 Saproling creature tokens when a nontoken creature you control dies.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Squee, adding .
4. When Squee dies, Infested Thrinax triggers, creating two 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Saprolings, adding 1.
6. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying 1.
7. Repeat from step 3.

By cycling Squee, the Immortal through the graveyard and back using mana generated by Phyrexian Altar, this loop turns the Altar's sacrifice outlet into a self-sustaining engine. Because Squee has a power of two, every time he hits the graveyard, Infested Thrinax's flash-granted entry trigger rewards you with a pair of 1/1 Saproling creature tokens. Sacrificing those tokens to Phyrexian Altar provides the exact colored mana needed to recast Squee from the graveyard, allowing you to repeat the cycle indefinitely for infinite sacrifices, deaths, and storm count.
