How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee, adding .
2. When Squee dies, Open the Graves triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
4. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying due to Green Goblin.
5. Repeat.

This engine relies on Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be cast directly from the graveyard, bypassing normal zone limitations. When you sacrifice Squee to Thermopod for red mana, Open the Graves steps in to replace him with a 2/2 Zombie token, which can then be sacrificed to Thermopod to fund Squee's return. With Norman Osborn // Green Goblin transformed on the battlefield, its static ability reduces the cost of spells cast from your graveyard by {2}, allowing you to recast Squee for just the two red mana you generated. By looping Squee's repeated demise and resurrection, you generate an endless storm count alongside infinite sacrifice, death, and creature triggers.
