How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Squee, adding .
2. When Squee dies, The Skullspore Nexus triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
4. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying due to Green Goblin.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be cast directly from your graveyard, a recurrence supercharged by the cost-reducing back face of Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Once Green Goblin is online, spells cast from your graveyard enjoy a massive two-mana discount, allowing Squee to return to the battlefield for a mere two red mana. Thermopod acts as your sacrifice outlet and mana engine, converting each iteration into red mana while sending Squee back to the graveyard to feed the machine. Meanwhile, The Skullspore Nexus watches the carnage and quietly generates massive Fungus Dinosaur tokens whenever your nontoken creatures die, providing endless fodder that Thermopod can also sacrifice for additional mana.
