How it works

1. Activate Steelfin Whale using the ability granted to it by Lightning Prowess by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to Smaug.
2. Smaug triggers, creating a Treasure token.
3. When the Treasure enters, Steelfin Whale triggers, untapping Steelfin Whale.
4. Repeat.

By enchanting Steelfin Whale with Lightning Prowess, you grant the whale a tap ability to ping targets directly. Tapping it to deal 1 damage to Smaug the Impenetrable sets off the dragon's triggered ability, transforming that noncombat damage into a newly minted Treasure token. Because that Treasure counts as an artifact entering the battlefield, it immediately triggers Steelfin Whale's static untap ability to ready the whale for another round. This creates a self-sustaining loop that generates infinite Treasure tokens, mana, and artifact triggers.
