How it works

1. Cast Chain of Acid by paying 3, targeting an indestructible noncreature permanent you control.
2. Clever Lumimancer triggers, giving itself +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Resolve Chain of Acid, destroying nothing and causing you to copy Chain of Acid, targeting an indestructible noncreature permanent you control.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This loop relies on Clever Lumimancer acting as a relentless engine, growing exponentially larger each time a spell is copied. The trick is pointing Chain of Acid at an indestructible permanent you control, which completely bypasses the destruction clause while still successfully resolving the spell. Because Chain of Acid forces its controller to copy it, you can endlessly loop the copy process back onto your own indestructible target, generating infinite magecraft triggers and swelling Clever Lumimancer into a game-ending threat.
