How it works
- Cast The Master either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus command tax, if applicable, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
- When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Phyrexian Metamorph and create at least two Treasure tokens.
- Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Activate The Master by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Phyrexian Metamorph to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
- When Phyrexian Metamorph enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
- Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Activate Phyrexian Metamorph by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever recursion engine where The Master, Formed Anew and Phyrexian Metamorph continuously trade places in the graveyard and on the battlefield, both wearing the identity of Ruthless Technomancer. Because Ruthless Technomancer generates Treasure tokens equal to the sacrificed creature's power upon entry, you always have enough mana and artifact fodder to fuel the Technomancer's reanimation ability—a cost made even more efficient by Training Grounds reducing its activation fee to just a single black mana. By endlessly looping this transmutation, you sacrifice and reanimate the clones back and forth, generating infinite enter-the-battlefield, leave-the-battlefield, and death triggers to overwhelm your opponents.
