How it works

1. Cast The Master either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus command tax, if applicable, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
2. When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Vesuvan Shapeshifter and create at least two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
4. Activate The Master by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Vesuvan Shapeshifter from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Vesuvan Shapeshifter to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
5. When Vesuvan Shapeshifter enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Vesuvan Shapeshifter by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns The Master, Formed Anew: Body Thief into a recursive engine by having it enter as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer, whose sacrifice ability is heavily discounted by Training Grounds down to just one black mana. Once Vesuvan Shapeshifter is sacrificed to fuel the Technomancer's entrance, it can enter the battlefield from the graveyard as a fresh copy of The Master, which in turn immediately morphs back into a Ruthless Technomancer to sacrifice the previous iteration. By constantly recycling each other between the battlefield and the graveyard using the Treasures they generate, this pair loops indefinitely to rack up an endless stream of sacrificial sacrifices and death triggers.
