Slip On the Ring

How it works

1. Cast Slip On the Ring by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Skullwinder and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Skullwinder trigger.
4. Resolve the Skullwinder trigger, returning Slip On the Ring from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Slip On the Ring.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Skullwinder and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into an engine of endless cyclical reincarnation, weaponizing the blink effect of Slip On the Ring to continuously reset the battlefield. Every time Abdel Adrian re-enters, he gobbles up your mana-producing permanents and Skullwinder, and while Skullwinder's graveyard recursion plucks Slip On the Ring right back to your hand, the resulting cascade of Soldier tokens and permanent triggers spins completely out of control. It is a wonderfully self-sustaining loop that doesn't just generate endless value, but also completely empties your opponent's graveyard card by card in the process.
