Illusionist's Stratagem

How it works

1. Cast Illusionist's Stratagem by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian and causing you to draw a card.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Invasion of Arcavios and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Invasion of Arcavios trigger.
4. Resolve the Invasion of Arcavios trigger, returning Illusionist's Stratagem from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Illusionist's Stratagem.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Invasion of Arcavios and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant commander loop uses Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to continuously blink Invasion of Arcavios, recycling spells and resources directly from the graveyard. Each time Invasion of Arcavios enters the battlefield, its triggered ability grabs Illusionist's Stratagem right back to your hand, allowing you to recast the blink spell and draw through your entire deck. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward safely whisks away your mana-producing permanents and brings them right back, funding the whole loop while filling your board with an endless army of Soldier tokens.
