How it works

1. Cast Abdel Adrian either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 4 and commander tax, if applicable.
2. When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Restoration Angel until Abedl Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
4. Abdel Adrian leaves and enters the battlefield, causing Restoration Angel to return to the battlefield from exile, and triggering Abdel Adrian and Restoration Angel's enter abilities.
5. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Restoration Angel until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
6. Resolve the Restoration Angel trigger, blinking Abdel Adrian.
7. Repeat from step 4.

This brilliant flicker loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into an engine of endless re-entry, fueled by the clever timing of Ghostly Flicker. When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, he initially banishes Restoration Angel to generate a Soldier token, but casting Ghostly Flicker kicks off the perpetual motion machine by restarting Abdel Adrian. That fresh entry lets Abdel Adrian swallow Restoration Angel anew, whose subsequent arrival immediately blinks Abdel Adrian right back out—creating an unstoppable ping-pong of leaves-the-battlefield and enters-the-battlefield triggers that floods the board with infinite tokens.
