How it works

1. Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Salvager of Secrets and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Salvager of Secrets trigger.
4. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Scrollshift.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Salvager of Secrets and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop centers on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry triggers the exile of your own nonland permanents to generate an army of Soldier tokens. By using Scrollshift to blink Abdel Adrian, you trigger his departure, which simultaneously returns Salvager of Secrets and frees up your other exiled permanents. Salvager of Secrets then does its crucial work on entrance by fishing Scrollshift right back out of your graveyard, while the mana-producing permanents you control can be tapped for fuel before Abdel Adrian inevitably scoops them back up into exile.
