How it works

1. Cast Slip On the Ring by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Salvager of Secrets and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Salvager of Secrets trigger.
4. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets trigger, returning Slip On the Ring from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Slip On the Ring.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Salvager of Secrets and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever engine relies on Slip On the Ring to continuously bounce your commander, starting a recursive loop of enters-and-leaves-the-battlefield triggers. Each time Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward returns to the field, its triggered ability scoops up your mana sources alongside Salvager of Secrets, generating a growing army of 1/1 Soldier tokens in the process. Meanwhile, Salvager of Secrets does the heavy lifting of pulling Slip On the Ring right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, ensuring you never run out of ammo as long as you have the mana to keep casting it.
