How it works

1. Cast Essence Flux by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Salvager of Secrets and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Salvager of Secrets trigger.
4. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets trigger, returning Essence Flux from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Essence Flux.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Salvager of Secrets and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This intricate loop is masterminded by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry triggers the mass exile of your other nonland permanents while generating an army of 1/1 Soldier tokens. By targeting him with Essence Flux, you force him to leave and return, which continuously resets his exile trigger to swallow up your board and free it anew. Salvager of Secrets plays a vital role here as well, slipping back in alongside your other permanents to constantly fish Essence Flux straight out of your graveyard and back into your hand for the next iteration.
