How it works

1. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning The Mirari Conjecture and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and The Mirari Conjecture trigger.
4. Resolve the The Mirari Conjecture trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Ghostly Flicker.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling The Mirari Conjecture and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This intricate loop is masterminded by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry and exit triggers allow you to repeatedly tuck away your own permanents and flood the board with Soldier tokens. By cycling Ghostly Flicker to target both Abdel Adrian and The Mirari Conjecture, you ensure that every blink resets the Saga—allowing its first or second chapter to continually fish Ghostly Flicker right back out of your graveyard. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's exile effect sweeps up your mana-producing permanents alongside The Mirari Conjecture, letting you tap them for resources before they vanish and netting an ever-growing army of tokens with every single iteration.
