How it works

1. Cast Momentary Blink by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Ardent Elementalist and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Ardent Elementalist trigger.
4. Resolve the Ardent Elementalist trigger, returning Momentary Blink from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Momentary Blink.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Ardent Elementalist and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This cunning loop hinges on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward cycling continuously in and out of exile, powered up by the clever recursive loops of Momentary Blink. Each time Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, he devours your mana-producing permanents and Ardent Elementalist, flooding the board with Soldier tokens while instantly dropping Ardent Elementalist right back beside him. That arrival triggers Ardent Elementalist to pluck Momentary Blink straight out of your graveyard, letting you recast the spell to blink Abdel Adrian all over again. By tapping your mana sources just before Abdel Adrian's exile trigger resolves, you keep the engine fully fueled while generating a ceaseless wave of enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
