How it works

1. Cast Momentary Blink by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Donnie & April and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Donnie & April trigger.
4. Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Momentary Blink from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Momentary Blink.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Donnie & April and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into an infinite engine by relying on the recursive power of Momentary Blink. Each time Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, he exiles your other nonland permanents—including Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo—which in turn allows Donnie & April to target your graveyard and fish Momentary Blink right back to your hand. As you recast the spell, the cycle repeats to generate an endless army of Soldier creature tokens while simultaneously untapping and reusing your mana sources.
