How it works

1. Cast Abdel Adrian by paying 4.
2. Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, exiling Sakashima of a Thousand Faces until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. Sakashima of a Thousand Faces leaves the battlefield, triggering its second ability, returning Fiend Hunter from exile to the battlefield.
4. Fiend Hunter enters the battlefield, triggering its first ability, exiling Abdel Adrian.
5. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Sakashima of a Thousand Faces from exile to the battlefield as a copy of Fiend Hunter.
6. Sakashima of a Thousand Faces enters the battlefield, triggering its first ability, exiling Fiend Hunter.
7. Fiend Hunter leaves the battlefield, triggering its second ability, returning Abdel Adrian from exile to the battlefield.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This engine transforms the battlefield into an endless loop by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to exile Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and trigger a cascade of perpetual returns. Because Sakashima of a Thousand Faces enters as a copy of Fiend Hunter while bypassing the legend rule entirely, the resulting flicker chain continuously trades places between Abdel and the hunter. Along the way, Fiend Hunter and Abdel Adrian work together to safely cycle other permanents in and out of exile, generating an infinite army of Soldier tokens and triggering any number of entering-the-battlefield effects without ever needing to recast your spells.
