How it works

1. Cast Illusionist's Stratagem by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Returned Pastcaller and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Returned Pastcaller trigger.
4. Resolve the Returned Pastcaller trigger, returning Illusionist's Stratagem from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Illusionist's Stratagem.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Returned Pastcaller and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns a simple blink spell into an engine of endless repetition by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as both the exile outlet and the token generator. When Illusionist's Stratagem targets Abdel Adrian, his departure triggers the return of Returned Pastcaller, whose entry ability immediately plucks Illusionist's Stratagem right back out of your graveyard. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's re-entry eats up Returned Pastcaller along with your mana-producing permanents, spitting out a growing army of 1/1 Soldier tokens while constantly recycling your hand and mana to do it all over again.
