How it works

1. Cast Flicker of Fate by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Returned Pastcaller and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Returned Pastcaller trigger.
4. Resolve the Returned Pastcaller trigger, returning Flicker of Fate from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Flicker of Fate.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Returned Pastcaller and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple blink into an unstoppable engine by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to repeatedly cycle your board. When you cast Flicker of Fate to blink Abdel Adrian, his departure triggers a cascade that brings back Returned Pastcaller, whose entry ability immediately returns the Flicker of Fate right back to your hand. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's own re-entry allows you to safely tuck away Returned Pastcaller alongside any mana-producing permanents you control, flooding the board with infinite Soldier tokens and generating endless value with every iteration.
