How it works
Cast Blur by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Izzet Chronarch and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
Abdel Adrian and Izzet Chronarch trigger.
Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Blur from your graveyard to your hand.
Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Blur.
Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Izzet Chronarch and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
Repeat.
This clever loop puts Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward at the center of a self-sustaining blink engine, leveraging his entry trigger to temporarily consume your own board and flood it with Soldier tokens. Each iteration relies on Blur to exile and instantly return Abdel Adrian, which in turn brings back Izzet Chronarch to fish Blur right back out of your graveyard. By also packing away your mana-producing permanents under Abdel Adrian's exile ability and re-tapping them upon their return, you generate the exact resources needed to recast Blur indefinitely while drawing cards and churning out an endless army.
