How it works

1. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Possessed Skaab and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Possessed Skaab trigger.
4. Resolve the Possessed Skaab trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Ghostly Flicker.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Possessed Skaab and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the mechanical synergy of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Ghostly Flicker into a self-sustaining engine by constantly resetting your board. Whenever Abdel Adrian re-enters the battlefield, it exiles your mana-producing permanents along with Possessed Skaab, whose entry trigger conveniently fishes Ghostly Flicker right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Meanwhile, Possessed Skaab's replacement effect sends it into exile rather than the graveyard whenever it would die, ensuring it is always ready to be returned to the battlefield alongside everything else when the blink spell resolves.
