How it works
Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Archaeomancer and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
Abdel Adrian and Archaeomancer trigger.
Resolve the Archaeomancer trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Scrollshift.
Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Archaeomancer and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
Repeat.
This loop transforms a simple blink spell into an unstoppable engine by leveraging the recursive power of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward alongside Archaeomancer. Each iteration begins by casting Scrollshift to exile and return Abdel Adrian, which in turn triggers Archaeomancer to pull Scrollshift right back out of your graveyard and into your hand while drawing you a card. Because Abdel Adrian's enter-the-battlefield ability can continually swallow up your mana-producing permanents and Archaeomancer itself, you generate an endless cascade of Soldier tokens, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and mana to recast Scrollshift over and over again.
