How it works

1. Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters the battlefield, causing all cards exiled with it to be returned to the battlefield. Abdel Adrian and Repository Skaab's exploit ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, exploiting another creature and triggering its second ability.
4. Holding priority, activate any number of permanents by tapping them, adding at least the cost of Scrollshift.
5. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling the mana producing permanent(s) and Repository Skaab and creating that many 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop revolves around casting Scrollshift to repeatedly blink Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, which triggers both his own entry-from-exile effect and Repository Skaab's exploit ability. By sacrificing one of the Soldier tokens generated by Abdel Adrian's entry, Repository Skaab effortlessly returns Scrollshift right back to your hand so the cycle can begin anew. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian can continuously re-exile Repository Skaab along with any mana-producing permanents you control, allowing you to tap them for infinite mana and draw your entire deck through Scrollshift's card-drawing property.
