How it works

1. Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Shipwreck Dowser and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Shipwreck Dowser trigger.
4. Resolve the Shipwreck Dowser trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Scrollshift.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Shipwreck Dowser and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop hinges on a continuous cycle of blinking and spell recovery. By casting Scrollshift to exile and return Abdel Adrian, you trigger a cascading sequence where Abdel's entry wipes your board into exile, bringing back Shipwreck Dowser alongside your other mana-producing permanents. Shipwreck Dowser then does its vital work by plucking Scrollshift right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, ready to restart the cycle. As you repeat this process, Abdel Adrian continually generates a growing army of 1/1 Soldier tokens while Scrollshift quietly cycles through your deck by drawing you a card each time it resolves.
