How it works

  1. Cast Slip On the Ring by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
  2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Possessed Skaab and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
  3. Abdel Adrian and Possessed Skaab trigger.
  4. Resolve the Possessed Skaab trigger, returning Slip On the Ring from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Slip On the Ring.
  6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Possessed Skaab and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
  7. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as the primary engine, blinking in and out of exile to repeatedly trigger its entry ability and generate an army of Soldier tokens. To sustain the loop, Slip On the Ring provides the instant-speed blink effect necessary to keep restarting the sequence. Meanwhile, Possessed Skaab acts as the crucial recursive link, using its entry ability to pluck Slip On the Ring right back from the graveyard so you can cast it again and again.
