How it works

1. Cast Illusionist's Stratagem by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Possessed Skaab and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Possessed Skaab trigger.
4. Resolve the Possessed Skaab trigger, returning Illusionist's Stratagem from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Illusionist's Stratagem.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Possessed Skaab and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop revolves around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward repeatedly blinking itself and your mana sources using Illusionist's Stratagem to generate an endless army of Soldier tokens alongside infinite card draw. Each iteration lets Possessed Skaab return Illusionist's Stratagem from your graveyard straight back to your hand, continuously recycling the spell while ensuring the required mana is always available. Because Possessed Skaab's replacement effect exiles it instead of letting it truly die, it safely re-enters the battlefield alongside your other permanents every single time Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters.
