How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Possessed Skaab and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Possessed Skaab trigger.
4. Resolve the Possessed Skaab trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Splash Portal.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Possessed Skaab and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple blink spell into an unstoppable engine of creation and recovery. By targeting Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward with Splash Portal, you trigger an exodus of your own permanents that instantly floods the board with 1/1 Soldier tokens while sweeping up your mana sources and Possessed Skaab. As Possessed Skaab re-enters, its triggered ability scoops Splash Portal right back out of your graveyard into your hand, ready to restart the cycle. The replacement effect on Possessed Skaab ensures it stays safely out of the graveyard between loops, letting you continuously recycle your mana-producing permanents and replay your blink spell for infinite value.
