How it works

1. Cast Cloudshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Ardent Elementalist and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Ardent Elementalist trigger.
4. Resolve the Ardent Elementalist trigger, returning Cloudshift from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Cloudshift.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Ardent Elementalist and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple blink spell into an unstoppable engine by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as a permanent-eating exile machine. When you cast Cloudshift to target Abdel Adrian, his departure and subsequent re-entry lets you perpetually cycle Ardent Elementalist to buy the spell right back out of your graveyard. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's enter-the-battlefield ability safely hoovers up your mana-producing permanents and spits them back out alongside Ardent Elementalist, generating an infinite supply of Soldier tokens, storm count, and triggers along the way.
