How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Ardent Elementalist and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Ardent Elementalist trigger.
4. Resolve the Ardent Elementalist trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Splash Portal.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Ardent Elementalist and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop centers around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry trigger allows you to tuck away other nonland permanents and flood the board with 1/1 Soldier creature tokens. By casting Splash Portal, you exile and immediately return Abdel Adrian, triggering a cascading reset of your entire board state. Ardent Elementalist leaps into the fray alongside Abdel Adrian to effortlessly pluck Splash Portal right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Meanwhile, any mana-producing permanents you control can be tapped for fuel while holding priority, only to be safely re-exiled and refreshed by the next cycle of Abdel Adrian's entry.
